"Human De-evolution" is the debut solo album by QIAN钱砾, released worldwide. Blending electronic music with alternative rock, it weaves a cyberpunk-inspired worldview. With a predetermined theme of "human de-evolution" and its underlying pessimistic sentiment, the album sparks discussions on contemporary issues such as society, technology, human nature, and the internet. Each track serves as a mirror—while the themes are clear, every listener may interpret them differently. This album is not just an auditory experience but also a catalyst for independent and critical thinking.
I was responsible for the visual direction of the album, crafting its visual identity, typography, and promotional materials. Drawing inspiration from its cyberpunk tone and themes of digital decay, I aimed to translate the sonic narrative into a cohesive visual language, one that amplifies the album’s emotional depth and conceptual intensity.《Human De-evolution》 (人类退化论) 以电子音乐和另类摇滚进行融合,编织了一个赛博朋克风格的世界观。用预设“人类退化”的悲观倾向情愫,引出对当下社会、科技、人性,网络等种种问题的讨论。
